Wednesdays, July 11-25, at 8 p.m. on Western Reserve PBS

Earth’s natural wonders are parts of the world that nature has carved on such a scale that they defy belief. For human beings, survival within these extraordinary places can pose great challenges. Yet human ingenuity makes this possible.

This three-part series explores why human beings need bravery and ingenuity to survive in the world’s most extreme places, including the high Himalayas, the Canadian arctic, the Brazilian Amazon and the Australian Outback.
