Concert for George

Sunday, June 10, at 8 p.m. on Western Reserve PBS

Concert for George was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Nov. 29, 2002, as a memorial to George Harrison on the one-year anniversary of his passing.

Olivia Harrison and long-time friend Eric Clapton organized this special event with Harrison’s closest friends to celebrate his life in the only way they knew how—by playing his music.

The momentous evening featured Harrison’s songs and the music he loved, with performances by Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Jools Holland, Jeff Lynne, Monty Python, Tom Petty, Billy Preston, Dhani Harrison and many more.
